Literacy for a Brighter Future
Why this initiative
Literacy Mission is the belief that an adult who cannot read is not late, and a child who cannot read Urdu or Arabic is not outside the tradition. The vision is a person who can open a page — a notice, a Qur’an, a form, a message from school — and not have to hand it to someone else. Literacy here includes the alphabet of daily life: basic English and digital steps, beside Arabic and Urdu.
What we aim to do
- Adult literacy without childishness or shame
- Arabic and Urdu reading as a right of the community, not a luxury
- Digital literacy enough to join a class, fill a form, and avoid a simple fraud
- Reading circles and community points, not only a classroom in a city
